About Us
COSMA Sustainable Rural Development (COSMA) is a social impact organization founded in 2017 with the goal of addressing poverty and empowering rural farming communities in Uganda. Initially launched as a grassroots initiative in 2010 to support vulnerable children, such as Denis—COSMA’s first beneficiary, the organization has grown significantly over the years. Denis, the only surviving member of a family affected by HIV, is now a medical doctor running his own health center. His inspiring journey
underscores COSMA’s dedication to creating lasting, transformative change in the lives of individuals and families impacted by poverty.
Vision
Prosperous and self-reliant rural communities in Uganda.
Mission
To increase household incomes by providing sustainable agricultural solutions and education programs through the village Cooperatives model.
